Notice of Company Name Change

Effective August 21st of this year, we have changed our company name from X Entertainment Inc. to Ekoh Works Inc.!

When we first started, we operated in the edutainment business, creating entertaining IT-related educational video content. However, due to various circumstances, we shifted our business domain to contract app development after about six months.

And now, we are on the verge of the official launch of our social contribution-focused matching platform "hope-links." Since we are currently not engaged in edutainment business whatsoever (in fact, not even a tiny bit!), we decided to change our company name at this opportunity 😄

Our name is pronounced "Ekoh Works."

The "Ekoh" part is derived from "回向 (ekō)," a Buddhist term.

Ekō means to direct the merit and virtue one has gained toward others and share it with them. In other words, rather than monopolizing any benefit we receive, sharing it with others is the essence of ekō.

This concept of ekō aligns perfectly with our company philosophy, and hope-links is built precisely on this way of thinking. That's why we incorporated it into our company name.
