A Question from a Business Networking Event

I'd like to share a question that came up when I was attending a business networking event.

At X-edutainment Inc., we develop custom business applications that sit in that sweet spot of 'more powerful than Excel, but not a full system.' We tailor these solutions to meet each client's specific needs.

Typically, developing such applications the conventional way can cost several million yen. However, we're able to deliver comparable solutions at roughly 1/10 to 1/20 of that price.

Someone asked, 'How can you be so cheap? Are you exploiting engineers in developing countries at low wages?' So let me explain.

To cut to the chase: We do not differentiate compensation between engineers from developing countries and Japanese engineers.

Whether someone is Japanese or from another country, if they're doing the same work at the same quality level, they receive the same compensation.

Here's why our development costs are so competitive:

★ Through our 'Business Visualization Workshop,' we thoroughly organize workflows and eliminate unnecessary features before implementation
★ We use no-code and low-code tools to streamline development processes
★ For custom-coded components, we've standardized modules that we reuse across projects
★ We leverage government subsidies (available to clients with at least one employee)

We are absolutely not exploiting overseas engineers in any way. I wanted to clarify this to avoid any misunderstanding!
