Last weekend, I attended an activity report meeting for developing country support initiatives hosted by a certain organization (as usual, I'm unable to disclose the country name).
At the networking reception, I may have had a bit too much to drink, but setting that aside...
Around 20 people participated. There was an on-site report via online connection, and it was shared that previous support destinations had become difficult due to deteriorating security and various other circumstances, raising questions about where support should be directed going forward.
While I felt the on-site situation was worsening day by day, there was also positive news that the number of supporters is steadily growing.
Multiple organizations introduced their activities, and we also had the opportunity to present our new business initiatives.
It was encouraging to see growing interest among participants. While it's difficult to dramatically improve the situation all at once, I came away from the meeting feeling that there is great value in continuing to do what we can, even if only little by little.
