Support for Developing Countries

Voice of Project Manager K from a Certain Project

Published 9/19/2024

At X-edutainment, we have adopted a corporate mission: "Realizing mutual benefit across borders."

On the surface, we primarily develop business improvement applications. However, in substance, we provide educational opportunities and work assignments to support young engineers facing politically difficult circumstances in their home countries.

Below, we would like to share feedback from a project manager involved in one of our recent projects. She is a female engineer in her mid-twenties who immigrated to Japan as conditions in her home country deteriorated, and is now working vibrantly. The majority of her salary earned in Japan is sent back to support her family in her home country.

Project Manager K

Thank you so much for providing me with this opportunity. Due to inflation, the salaries of people in our country have not kept pace with rising prices, and the situation is very difficult. Considering these circumstances, this project is more valuable than ever, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to participate.

In this project, I divided tasks within the team, discussed our plan with members, and conducted code reviews with everyone after the project was completed. We also tested whether the results met the requirements. By participating in this project, I was able to gain valuable knowledge about coding and project management. If the opportunity arises, I would like to participate in many more projects.

Usui-san was very kind when we asked questions and explained the requirements clearly, which was very helpful. Thank you very much.
