Happy New Year!
Thanks to all of you, I was able to enjoy mochi during the New Year holidays this year! w I graduated from my usual lazy New Year's break—I visited Shoin Shrine on New Year's Day and went on my first ride in Yokohama on the 2nd. ♪
Looking back, so much happened last year!
In February, a colleague working overseas got caught up in an incident and went missing. In March, another colleague found themselves in a difficult situation, and I ran around asking for help from my former colleagues and business community connections. In June, I attended a certain business networking event. In July, we secured our largest project to date. In September, I got into a serious dispute with a vendor and my stomach was in knots. In October, I became involved in managing a social issue-solving community. In November, I worked late into every night and basically became a zombie.
Since deciding to start this company three years ago, I've been working hard to support developing countries through business—a different approach from traditional ODA. Taking both the good and bad as fertilizer, I feel like seeds are gradually beginning to sprout.
This year will be a crucial one as we take a major step forward on a multi-year company-defining project. If this is realized, I believe we will be able to bring hope to many more people.
Moving forward, we will continue to pursue "mutual benefit across borders," so I look forward to your continued support this year!
