Yesterday, I attended a session hosted by Fujiyama-san from Daikichi Accounting called "Strategic Management Game" – a board game where you learn management accounting, which is essential for business, by experiencing it firsthand!
To be honest, before attending I thought "A board game? What's that supposed to be?" and was pretty skeptical about it, but I have to say – this content is so amazing that I almost felt like marching in front of the Ministry of Education demanding it be made part of mandatory education!! (laughs)
I intellectually understood that in business management, you need to make plans, grasp the numbers, and adjust course when deviations occur – but I wasn't actually doing it. However, by experiencing a simulated business scenario through this game, I gained a powerful realization: "Wow, my company might actually be in pretty rough shape..." (sweat)
Not just for business owners, but for employees too – experiencing firsthand how their actions impact the company allows them to develop what you might call a genuine business sense.
I really recommend it!
